My Ceaseless Thoughts on Life and the World around Me
A Website Adrift
It's a remarkably sisyphean endeavor: making a personal website in this era of Youtube channels, Tiktok pages, and Pintrest boards. I do find myself in the occasional grapple with insanity, but that's okay. I'm happy to suffer any amount of psychic damage in the name of yellow.
A sincere word on the making of this, though: it's been some of the most fun I've had in a long time. I'm not a disorganized person, per say, but I am an all-too-typical case of having too many ideas, and this little digital island is steadily growing into a home for them all. It's flexible enough to do whatever I demand of it, and trust me, I demand a lot.
I've wanted to do something like this for a long time—long enough that I just cracked one summer afternoon. I didn't know any HTML nor CSS at the time, but it proved easy enough to learn as I went along. Maybe 6 hours of work later, and I'd laid the groundwork for what you see now.
At the time of writing, It's been nearly two months since then, and I'm finally getting around to the original idea. Such is the way of things, it seems. But now that I've set up the page, I'll be able to make posts much more readily. Hopefully I can find the constitution to actually follow through on that.
Either way, though, this concludes my first-ever blog post in all its gorey aimlessness. Look forward to more, hopefully better-rendered updates in the future.
